Connectiveness vs. Connectivity

Which of the above words describe your family dynamic? If its the latter, like many families, you need to do something about it. It’s not an easy task in today’s world where technology permeates every facet of our lives. The next time the family is together, look around and see what each person is doing. Odds are they are on some kind of device. And it’s not just the kids. Parents are also consumed with connectivity. In a recent national survey of teens, they found that 62 percent of kids feel like their parents are distracted or focused on other things when they’re trying to talk to them. The main culprit? Cell phones

We need to find a common ground. Technology won’t be going away but we can set aside time to connect face to face. Check out this video.
