This is Your Teen’s Brain on Drugs

Three decades ago, the image of an egg sizzling in a frying pan represented “your brain on drugs” on television screens across America. This frequently aired PSA ended by simply asking viewers: “Any questions?”

Well, over the years we have learned that yes, both teens and parents do have questions. For many middle and high school students, it is not enough to simply tell them not to experiment with drugs. They want to know why.

Please join us on Wednesday, January 24th for a discussion with Stephen L. Dewey, Ph.D. to learn more about the effects of addictive substances on the adolescent brain. This presentation will equip parents with the information needed to help their kids understand more about the dangers of drug use. Teens are also welcome at this free event.
